Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how AffiliateGrowthAgent handles information when you use the application and its optional integrations, including Pinterest. The application helps users research affiliate products, prepare content and media, and manage user-reviewed publishing workflows.
1. Information the application may process
Depending on features used, AffiliateGrowthAgent may process product and affiliate-program information you enter or research; content drafts, captions, media files, publishing selections and approval records; platform account identifiers and board identifiers; authorization tokens; and technical diagnostics needed to operate or troubleshoot the application.
2. Pinterest integration
If you connect Pinterest, the application uses Pinterest's authorization process and API to access permitted account information, list boards available to the authenticated account, and submit Pins when the publishing feature is configured and you explicitly approve the action.
Information processed may include your Pinterest account identifier, username or display name when provided by Pinterest, board identifiers and names, Pin content, media URL, and destination link. Pinterest handles information under its own terms and privacy policy. Connecting an account does not itself publish a Pin.
3. Storage
The desktop application uses local application storage for product, draft, media and workflow data. Platform credentials are intended to be stored in operating-system credential storage rather than content drafts. Some media may be uploaded to a configured public media host so supported platforms can retrieve it. Publicly hosted media and URLs may be accessible to anyone who has the URL.
4. How information is used
Information is used to provide product research, content drafting, media preparation, account connection, approval and publishing features; maintain workflow state; help prevent unintended duplicate publishing; and diagnose errors.
5. Third-party services
The application may send information to a platform when you invoke an integration, to an AI provider when you request AI-assisted features, and to a configured media-hosting provider when you upload media. These services process information under their own terms and privacy policies. The application operator does not sell personal information as part of the described application workflow.
6. Retention and deletion
Application records and media may remain in local storage or configured hosting until deleted using the relevant application's or provider's available controls. Disconnecting a platform account may not delete content already published or files already uploaded; those may need to be removed separately.
7. Security
The application design uses safeguards such as operating-system credential storage for platform credentials and approval controls for publishing. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep your computer, application and connected accounts protected.
8. Your choices
You can choose whether to connect a platform account, what content to prepare, and whether to approve supported publishing actions. You can revoke access through the relevant platform's settings. Revocation may not remove data already received, published or hosted.
9. Children's privacy
AffiliateGrowthAgent is not designed for children and is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the application's features and integrations change. The effective date above indicates when this version was prepared.
